Band: Neil Finn
With the release of Dizzy Heights early this year, New Zealand’s Neil Finn proves he still has his sterling songcraft chops. The former frontman for Split Enz and then Crowded House opens up the album with this song, which is delicately suspended with a brilliant architecture of sonic grace. It’s as if he made tentativeness his ally. It’s a soulful song with elegant changes and which effortlessly shows off the great ensemble he’s assembled for the album tour.
