These works date from Milled / Distilled, my 2004 solo show at Hugh's Room, a well-known Toronto music venue.

All photos of individual works on this page were taken by my photographer friend Gary Mulcahey.

The title of the show reflects where these were painted, at our old studio on Mill Street, a stone's throw from the

former Gooderham Distillery complex. The building housing the studio, a decrepit former freight terminal, succumbed

to bulldozers and wrecking balls a few years ago in preparation for the redevelopment of the lower lands of the Don

River. The space served us well for quite a few years; I have fond memories of time spent there.
